RESOLUTION AND ORDER CLOSING PEDESTRIAN WALKWAY
BETWEEN CHANNING AND ROLLINS ROAD
RESOLVED, by the CITY COUNCIL of the CITY OF
BURLINGAME,_that
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 42-85 adopted
on the 6th day of May, 1985, declaring its intention to close
the pedestrian walkway between Channing Road and Rollins Road,
this Council caused notice to be given of a hearing to be held
oh:tke 3rd day of June, 1985, and
WHEREAS, said notice was posted in the vicinity of
said pedestrian walkway and sent to all property owners within
300 feet thereof, and
WHEREAS, at the time and place of said hearing this
Council heard all evidence offered by all parties interested in
said closing:
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY FOUND, DETERMINED AND
ORDERED as follows:
1. That the Council finds that the public interest,
convenience and necessity demand the closingiof the pedestrian
walkway between Channing Road and Rollins Road, more particularly
described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto, and that it shall be
and is hereby closed to public use.
2. That said pedestrian walkway is not being
abandoned by the City of Burlingame and said land shall remain in
the ownership of the City of Burlingame.
3. That the City Clerk shall cause a certified copy
of this resolution to be recorded in the office of the County
Recorder.
I, JUDITH A. MALFATTI, City Clerk of the City of
Burlingame, do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the
3rd day of June ,1985 and was adopted thereafter by
the following vote:
