RESOLUTION NO. 4
RESOLUTION INITIATING PROJECT AND LOAN
APPLICATIONS FOR STREET LIGHT CONVERSION
RESOLVED by the CITY COUNCIL of the CITY OF BURLINGAME,
WHEREAS, the California Public Utilities Commission has
authorized funding for a 1985 Energy Management Incentive Program,
WHEREAS, Pacific Gas & Electric Company and the
California Energy Commission have allocated budgeted funds for
Energy Management Incentives including the upgrading of customer
street and highway lighting (PG&E Rate Schedules LS -2A,
S -2B and LS -2C), and
WHEREAS, conversion of street and/or highway lighting
by the City of Burlingame to more efficient lighting
lifies for the PG&E Incentive Program and the CEC Loan Program
will result in lower energy costs,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Citv Council of
City of Burlingame that the City Manager is hereby directed to
leop a project description, purchase necessary material,
for construction forces and apply for the PG&E Incentive
tes. The City Manager is further directed to investigate a
Series to Multiple Conversion Loan from the California Energy
