RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CLOSE PEDESTRIAN
WALK BETWEEN CHANNING ROAD AND ROLLINS
ROAD
RESOLVED by the CITY COUNCIL of the City of Burlingame:
1. That the public interest and convenience required, and it
is the intention of this Council to close that certain existing
pedestrian walk which is situated in the City of Burlingame, Count
of San Mateo, State of California, and is particularly described
in EXHIBIT A attached hereto. Said pedestrian walk is located
between the northerly terminus of Channing Road and Rollins Road.
2. The City Council hereby elects to proceed under the Public
Streets, Highways and Service Easements Vacation Law, Sections
8300 et sea. of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of
California.
3. Notice is hereby given that Monday the 3rd day of June,
1985, at 8:00 p.m. at the Council Chambers of the City Council
in the City Hall, 501 Primrose Road, Burlingame, is hereby fixed
as the time and place for hearing of persons interested in the
proposed closing of said pedestrian walk.
4. The Clerk of said City shall cause this resolution to be
published twice in the BOUTIQUE & VILLAGER, a newspaper of gene
circulation published in the County of San Mateo and circulated
in said City, which said newspaper is hereby designated for that
purpose.
5. As notice of said proposed closing the City Engineer of
said City shall cause copies of this resolution to be posted
conspicuously on and in the vicinity of said pede strian walkway
to be closed. They shall be posted not more than 300 feet apart
and at least three (3) copies of this resolution shall be so
posted.
