HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso - CC - 040-1985RESOLUTION NO. 4 C85 AUTHORIZING DESTRUCTION OF CERTAIN RECORDS, DOCUMENTS AND PAPERS WHEREAS, Section 34090 of the Government Code of the State of California provides that with the approval of the legislative body by resolution, and with the consent of the City Attorney, the head of a city department may, with certain exceptions, destroy any city record, document, instrument, book or paper not less than two (2)'years old, without making a copy thereof, and after the same is no longer required; and WHEREAS, the City Attorney has recommended the destruction of certain records, more particularly described below; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Burlingame, California, does hereby RESOLVE AND DETERMINE as follows: 1. Pursuant to Section 34090 of the California Government Code, the City Attorney of this City be, and he is hereby, authorized to destroy the following records, documents and papers in the possession of his office and which are more than two (2) years old: See Exhibit "A" attached 2. None of said records, documents and papers constitute records affecting the title to real property or liens thereon, court records, records required to be kept by statute, or minutes, ordinances or resolutions of the City Council, or of any City board or commission.
