HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso - CC - 118-1986RESOLUTION PdO. 118--86, DESTRUCTION OF CERTAIN AND PAPERS WHEREAS, Section 34090 of the Government Code of the State of California provides that with the approval of the legislative body by resolution, and with the consent of the City Attorney, the head of a city department may, with certain exceptions, destroy any city record, document, instrument, book or paper not less than two (2) years old, without making a copy thereof, and after the same is no longer required; and WHEREAS, �he Director of Public Works has recommended the destruction of ertain records, more particularly described below; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Burlingame, California, does he ebv RESOLVE AND DETERMINE as follows: 1. Pursuant to Section 34090 of the California Government Code, the DirectP blit Works of this City be, and he is hereby, uthorized to destroy the following records, documents and papers in he possession of his office and which are more than two (2) yearsold: Twenty-seven (7) office files, list attached, dated from the year 1930 to a d including the year 1979. 2.
