AWARDING CONTRACT
STREET LIGHTING REPLACEMENT
PROJECT NO. 520
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized an invitation for bids
for the STREET LIG TING (REPLACEMENT PROJECT.
WHEREAS, on APRIL 15, 198 6, all bids received were opened
before the City Clerk and the Director of Public Works; and
WHEREAS, SM7H ELECTRIC CONSTRUCTION OF EUREKA submitted
the lowest bid for the jib in the amount of $184,911.
NOW, THEREFOR-, be it RESOLVED, and it is hereby ORDERED, that the
bid of SMITH ELECTRIC CONSTRUCTION OF EUREKA for said project
in the amount of $ 184,911 be, and the same hereby is accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a contract be entered into between the
successful bidder hereinabove referred to and the City of Burlingame for
the performance of 3aid work, and that the City Manager be, and he hereby
is authorized for aid onbehalf of the City of Burlingame to execute said
contract and to app ove the faithful performance bond and the labor and
materials bond required to be furnished by the c)ptractor.
