RESOLUTION APPROVING Variances
RESOLVED by the CITY COUNCIL of the City of Burlingame
that;
WHEREAS, application has been made for tWO variances
for a residential remodelina
1153 Bernal Avenue
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing
said application on October 26 ,198 7 , at which
said application was approved;
WHEREAS, this matter was appealed to Council and
hearing thereon held on November 16 ,1987
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby RESOLVED and DETERMINED by
s Council that said variances are approved, subject to the
ditions set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto.

It is further directed that a certifed copy of this
be recorded in the official re=rds of the G®.pnty of
I, JUDITH A. MALFATTI, City Clerk of the City of
Burlingame do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the I -
16th day of November 1198 7 , and adopted thereafter by i

I. that the conditions of the Chief Building Inspector's October 9;
1987 memo shall be met;
2. that the second story addition and garage replacement shall be
built as shown on the plans submitted to the Planning Department
and date stamped October 1, 1987, with the added condition that a
fence be placed perpendicular to the property line on the side of
the driveway closest to the house, with a push gate placed so as to
avoid the pool and spa area, the late to be no closer to the
property line than 21, with the existing gate across the driveway
to be removed; and
3. that a planter or other fixed obstacle shall be placed in the 1.5'
area between the garage wall and the spa.
