RESOLUTION NO. 122-87
DECLARING RESULT OF GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION
OF NOVEMBER 3, 1987
WHEREAS, a General Municipal Election was held in the
City of Burlingame, on Tuesday the 3rd day of November, 1987; and
WHEREAS, notice of said election was duly and regularly
given as required by law; voting precincts were duly established;
election officers were appointed and voting supplies furnished,
and in every respect and manner the said election was held and
conducted, and the votes cast were received within the time and
manner prescribed by the law of the State of California controll-
ing elections in general law cities; and
WHEREAS, the CITY COUNCIL of the City of Burlingame duly
convened at the usual place on Monday, the 16th day of November,
1987, to review the Certificate of the County Clerk regarding the
canvass of the returns of said election and to install the newly
elected officers, and as a result of such canvass the said City
Council finds that the number of votes cast, the persons for whom
such vote was cast, and all other matters required by law, are
hereinafter stated;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the said election
held in the City of Burlingame on Tuesday, the 3rd day of November
1987, was conducted in the time, manner and form required by the
law of the State of California governing elections in general law
cities.
That the number of ballots cast in said election was
6641 That the names of the persons, offices and
propositions voted for, and the number of votes given at each
precinct and in the City to each are as set forth in EXHIBIT A
attached hereto.
That at said General Municipal Election GLORIA H. BARTON
and FRANK PAGLIARO were elected Members of City Council of the
City of Burlingame for the full term of four (4) years.
That at said General Election Proposition "S", Renter's
Relief Ordinance, was defeated and Proposition "T", Fair Property
Rights, was passed./�,./ ✓ Yil

Burlingame do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the
16th day of November ,1987, and adopted thereafter by the

I, WARREN SLOCUM, County Clerk for the County of San Mateo, do
hereby certify to the City Council of the City of Burlingame that after the
closing of the polls at the City of Burlingame Municipal Election
Consolidated with the School Governing Board and Consolidated Elections held
on Tuesday, the 3rd day of November, 1987, within the City of Burlingame for
the purpose of electing two members of the City Council for a four year term
and submitting two Measures, namely Measures S and T, Resolution Nos. 78-87,
adopted August 3, 1987, to the vote of voters, I caused to have taken off
and recorded from the voting machines used at said polling places and I
caused to be canvassed the absentee ballots cast at said election within
the City of Burlingame.
I HEREBY FURTHER CERTIFY that the record of votes cast at said
polling places and the results of the canvass of the absentee ballots cast
for the various candidates for the office of Member of City Council and for
and against Measures S and T are set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto
and incorporated herein by reference as though fully set forth at length.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I hereunto affix my hand and seal this 16th
day of November, 1987, and file this date with the City Council of the
City of Burlingame.
