HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso - CC - 141-1990RESOLUTION NO. 141-90 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME DESIGNATING THE CITY/COUNTY ASSOCIATION OF GOVERNMENTS AS THE PUBLIC AGENCY TO DEVELOP, ADOPT AND UPDATE THE CONGESTION MANAGEMENT PROGRAM RESOLVED, by the City Council, City of BURLINGAME State of California, that WHEREAS, Government Gode section 65088 et sea., requires that a Congestion Management Program be developed, adopted, and annually updated for every county; and WHEREAS, the program shall be developed by a public agency as designated by the County Board of Supervisors and the City Council's of a majority of the cities representing a city of the population in an unincorporated area of the County; and WHEREAS, the City/County Association of Governments is being established as a joint powers entity for the purpose of developing state mandated plans such as the Congestion Management Program; and WHEREAS, it is the intention of this City Council to designate the City/County Association of Governments as the public agency to develop the Congestion Management Program; NOW THEREFORE IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the City/County Association of Governments is designated as the public agency to develop, adopt and annually update the Congestion Management Program. This resolution shall be effective upon the formation and establishment of the City/County Association of Governments. MAYOR I, JUDITH A. MALFATTI, A. MALFATTI, City Clerk of the City of Burlingame, do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 19th day of November 1990, and was adopted thereafter by the following vote: AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: HARRISON, LEMBI, O'MAHONY, PAGLIARO NOES; COUNCILMEMBERS: BARTON ABSENT; COUNCILMEMBERS: NONE CITY CLERK
