RESOLUTION OF
OF BURLINGAME(Title of Governing Body/City Council, Bd. of Supervisors)
APPROVING THE APPLICATION FOR GRANT FUNLS
(City, County, District)
FOR THE TRAIL GRANT FROM M UNDER THE CALIFORNIA WILDLIFE, CC)ASS , AND PARK
LAND CONSERVATION ACT OF 1988 for the following project(s),
AIRPORT BLVD BIKE PATH
(Attach seParate sheet for additional -projects)
WHEREAS, the people of the State of California have enacted the California
Wildlife, Coastal, and Park Land Conservation Act of 1988,which prfundsides fu
to the State of California and its Political subdivisions foracquiring and/or
developing facilities for Public recreational and open space; and
WHEREAS, the State Department of Parks and Recreation has been delegated
the responsibility for the administration of the program within the state,
setting up necessary Procedures governing application by local agencies
the program; and caa g under
WHEREAS, said procedures established by the State Department of Parks
Recreation require the applicant to certify by resolution the ast
rov-application(s) before submission of said application(s) to the stateand
lof
WHEREAS, said application(s) contain assurances that the applic
cO nply with; and ant mast
WHEREAS, the applicant will enter into an agreement with the State of
California for acquisition or development of the project(s);
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the__ City Council
(Title of Governing Body) hereby.
1. Approves the filing of an application for the Trails Grant Program under.
the California Wildlife, Coastal, aryl park Lard Conservation Act of 1988
state grant assistance for the above Project(s); and
2• Certifies that said applicant understands the assurances and certification
in the application form; and
3. Certifies that said applicant has or will have sufficient funds to operate
and maintain the project(s); and
4• Appoints the City Manager as agent of the

City of Burlingame to conduct all
(City, Canty, District, or Non-profit organization)
negotiations, execute and submit all documents, including, but not limited

to applications, agreements, amendments, payment
requests and so on, which
may be necessary for the cong:letion of the aforementioned project(s).
