Willow Avenue (APN 028-1.42-350 i and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on said application on June 8 ,198 7 , at which area time a determination was made thatthebasementli.s a second unit; WHEREAS, this matter was appealed to Council and a hearing thereon held on July 6 ,1967 NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby RESOLVED and DETERMINED by this Council that the basement area is not a second unit and may remain as described in the application dated April 29, 1987 with attachments, subject to the conditions set forth 1 Exhibit Alt is further directed that a certifed copy of this San Mateo. be recorded in the official records of the County of I, JUDITH A. A building permit shall be obtained and applicant shall pay any related fines for work performed without a permit; and 2. the basement area shall not be closed off from the main house by a door, wall or other closure which would encourage future pro- perty owners to convert this area to an apartment; clear access from the main house to the rear door leading to the backyard shall be maintained.
