AWARDING CONTRACT
1988-89 TREE PRUNING CONTRACT - CITY PROJECT #809
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized an invitation for bids for
the TREE PRUNING, PROJECT # 809 ; and
WHEREAS, on July 26, 1988, all bids received were opened
before the Director of Parks; and
WHEREAS, TIMBERLINE TREE SERVICE submitted the lowest
bid for the job in the amount of $ 47,500.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED, and it is hereby ORDERED, that the
bid of TIMBERLINE TREE SERVICE for said work in the amount of $ 47,500.00
be, and the same hereby is accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a contract be entered into between the
successful bidder hereinabove referred to and the City of Burlingame for
the performance of said work, and that the City Manager be, and he hereby
is authorized for and on behalf of the City of Burlingame to execute said
contract and to approve the faithful performance bond and the labor and
materials bond required to be furnished by the contractor.
I, Judith A. Malfatti, City Clerk of the City of Burlingame, do
hereby, certify that the foregoing Resolution was introduced at a regular
MEETING OF THE City Council held the 1st day of August 1988
and was adopted thereafter by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: AMSTRUP, BARTON, LEMBI, MANGINI
NOES: COUNCILMEN: NONE
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: PAGLIARO
