ESTABLI�4HING FEE SCHEDULE, BONDING AND INSURANCE
REQUIREA¢ENTS FOR PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT PERMITS
RESOLVED by the CITY COUNCIL of the CITY OF
BURLINGAME, California that:
WHEREAS, various provisions of the Burlingame
Municipal Code provide for fees, bonding and insurance to be
established by resolution of this Council for applications and
permits pertaining to matters to be considered by the Public
Works Department;
NOW, THEREFORE, the following schedule is establi
ed for the applications, permits and proceedings hereinafter set
forth:

The City Engineer shall have the authority to
increase the bond amount if the scope of work is sufficiently
large or difficult.
III
INSURANCE
The City Engineer may require liability insurance
if deemed necessary.
IV
Public utilities may be charged an annual fee on a
calendar year bais in the amount of $500 to cover all permits
for work involving less than 100 square feet of pavement or
sidewalk area opening. In addition to said annual fee the actual
cost of inspection of public utility projects involving in excess
of 100 square feet of sidewalk or pavement opening will be billed
to the utility company; such billing will be annually for projects
completed during the year to a maximum of 1/2 of 1% of the actual
construction cost.
