RESOLUTION APPROVING PARKING VARIANCE AND SPECIAL PERMIT
RESOLVED by the CITY COUNCIL of the City of Burlingame that:
WHEREAS, application has been made for a parking variance
and special Permit to expand an existing restaurant
at . 1204 Broadway IAPN 026-094-130
and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on
said application on July 23 1990 , at which
time said application was approved;
WHEREAS, this matter was appealed to Council and a
hearing thereon held on August 20 1 1990 , at which
time it reviewed and considered the staff report and all other
written materials and testimony presented at said hearing;
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby RESOLVED and DETERMINED by this
Council that said variance and special permit are approved, subject
to the conditions set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto.
It is further directed that a certified copy of this
resolution be recorded in the official records of the County of San
Mateo,

do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was introduced at a
regular meeting of the City Council held on the 20th day of
August 1990 and adopted thereafter by the
following vote:

Conditions of approval, special permit
and parking variance, 1204 Broadway
(effective August 21, 1990)
Property owner:
Alice Ducasse/Irene Poimiroo/Maurice J. Ducasse
406 Georgetown Avenue
San Mateo, CA 94402
1. that the project shall be built as shown on the plans submitted
to the Planning Department and date stamped June 21, 1990 without
the second floor mezzanine, and as revised July 12, 1990;
2. that the project shall meet all Uniform Building and Fire Code
requirements as amended by the City of Burlingame; and the
conditions of the City Engineers memo of June 11, 1990 shall be
met;
3. that the placement of the rear door shall be approved by the Fire
and Building Departments;
4. that this business shall operate from Tuesday through Sunday,
serving lunch from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. and dinner from
4:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M.; with a maximum of six employees,
including the owner, on site at one time;
5. that the project shall provide adequate filtering and venting to
avoid dissemination of odors and grease on neighboring
properties; and
6. that the project shall be reviewed for compliance with these
conditions in six months (February, 1991) or upon complaint.
