HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso - CC - 067-1988RESOLUTION NO. 67-88 AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE MAIN SEWAGE PUMP STATION IMPROVEMENTS - PROJECT NO. 602 WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized an invitation for the Main Sewage Pump Station Improvements, Project No. 602. WHEREAS, on May 24, 1988, all bids received were opened before the City Clerk and the Director of Public Works; and, WHEREAS, the low bid of Marelich Mechanical Company, Inc. is rejected as being nonresponsive to the Plans and Specifications; and WHEREAS, Monterey Mechanical Company, Inc. submitted the the second low bid in the amount of $1,467,000. NOW, THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED, and it is hereby ORDERED, that the bid of Monterey Mechanical Company, Inc. for said project in the amount of $1,467,000 be, and the same hereby is accepted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a contract be entered into between the successful bidder hereinabove referred to and the City of Burlingame for the performance of said work, and that the City Manager be, and he hereby is authorized for and on behalf of the City of Burlingame to execute said contract and to approve the faithful performance bond and the labor and materials bond required to be furnished by the Contractor. I, Judith A. Malfatti, City Clerk of the City of Burlingame, do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 20th day of .
