RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING
TRAFFIC ALLOCATION REQUIREMENTS
AND PROCEDURES
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Burlingame that
WHEREAS, as a part of the preparation of the
specific area plan for the Burlingame Bayfront a traffic
analysis was performed, utilizing the Land
Use/ Transportation Impact Analyzer, to evaluate the traffic
impact of proposed land uses in the area, and
WHEREAS, it was determined that allocation of
traffic capacity was necessary before approval of future
development projects in the area, and
WHEREAS, procedures were established and traffic
capacity has been allocated since the adoption of the
specific area plan, but said process has not been formalized
by resolution of this Council and it is the opinion of this
Council that such formalization should take place;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS THE ORDER AND DETERMINATION
OF THIS COUNCIL that
1. Every development project within the area of
the Bayfront Area Specific Plan shall apply for and receive
a traffic allocation before applying for and obtaining any
administrative or discretionary permits necessary for such a
project.
2. The traffic allocation shall be based upon the
traffic analysis set forth in Appendix A to said specific
plan, as adopted by Resolution 31-81 on April 28, 1981, and
as said traffic analysis may modified from time to time.
3. The City Planner shall prepare necessary
procedures for processing applications for traffic
allocations.

Burlingame, do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held
on the 15th day of May 1989 and was
adopted thereafter by the following vote:
