HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso - CC - 083-1991RrtvpN rip .- RECORDING REQUESTED BY CITY CLERK CITY OF BURLINGAME 501 PMV11ROSE ROAD BU UNGAME CA 94010 RESOLUTION NO.83-91 91 12 8128 RESOLUTION DENYING SPECIAL USE PERMITS - 724 PALOMA APN 029-043-270 RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Burlingame that: WHEREAS, application was made to the Planning Commission of the City of Burlingame by Mehmet Bayramoglu for four special permits to allow two accessory structures at 724 Paloma Avenue, and WHEREAS, said application was heard by the Planning Commission of the City of Burlingame on July 8, 1991, said hearing being noticed as required by law; and WHEREAS, the application was denied by the Planning Commission, a timely appeal filed by the applicants, and a public hearing upon said appeal scheduled and held by the City Council on September 4,1991: NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED AND DETERMINED by the City Council of the City of Burlingame: 1. The granting of the special use permits applied for would not be in the interests of the health and welfare of the persons using said property or in the vicinity of the property, and would not be in conformity with reasonable and orderly use of the property. 2. The decision of the Planning Commission is hereby , affirmed and said special permits are denied. W IP -h IPA N OD tJ OD 3. The applicant shall obtain all necessary permits for reconversion of the workshop to a covered parking space and obtain building permits for the lanai, hot and other facilities installed without building permits; the lanai shall be allowed to remain at its present size (179 square feet), provided all corrections are made to meet the current building codes of the City of Burlingame. The demolition and building permits shall be obtained within 30 days of this action and the work shall be completed within six months after the issuance of the permits. 4.
