HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso - CC - 081-1992RESOLUTION NO. 81-92 5 2 1 5 1 5 5 6 RESOLUTION APPROVING CATEGORICAL EXEMPTION AND HILLSIDE AREA CONSTRUCTION PERMIT RESOLVED by the CITY COUNCIL of the City of Burlingame that: WHEREAS, a categorical exemption has been proposed and application has been made for a hillside area construction permit for a patio enclosure and deck replacement at 2825 Las Piedras Drive "$T:1 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on said application on August 10 , 1992 at which time said application was approved; WHEREAS, this matter was appealed to City Council and a hearing thereon held on September 9 , 1992 , at which time it reviewed and considered the staff report and all other written materials and testimony presented at said hearing; NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby RESOLVED and DETERMINED by this Council that: 1. On the basis of the Initial Study and the documents submitted and reviewed, and comments received and addressed by this council, it is hereby found that there is no substantial evidence that the project set forth above will have a significant effect on the environment, and a Categorical Exemption Sec. 15301 Class 1 (e) - Existing Facilities is hereby approved. 2. Said hillside area construction permit is approved, subject to the conditions set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto. Findings for such approval are as set forth in the minutes and recording of said meeting. 3. MALFATTI, City Clerk of the City of Burlingame, do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 9th day of September 1992 , and adopted thereafter by the following vote: AYES: COUNCILMEN: HARRISON, KNIGHT, LEMBI, O'MAHONY, PAGLIARO NOES: COUNCILMEN: NONE ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: NONE RECORDED A7 REQUEST OF ca �-&Vt4'"'R' ARID RETURN TO 0/0 So I CITY CLERK Li, EXHIBIT "A" Conditions of approval, hillside area construction permit, 2825 Las Piedras Drive (effective September 10, 1992) 1. that the addition as built shall conform to the plans submitted to the Planning Department and date stamped June 11, 1992 Sheets 1 and 2; 2. that the finish material used on the patio cover shall be nonreflective as approved by the Chief Building Inspector and City Planner; 3. that the highest point on the new roof of the addition shall not exceed the elevation of the existing eave at the rear of the house adjacent to the new covered patio and that the framing shall be CL) surveyed to confirm this elevation and the survey accepted by the N City Engineer before the final framing inspection is called for and the patio enclosure is permanently attached; Ln 4. that the applicant shall not participate in or undertake any f11 further individual or cooperative tree cutting or trimming on this Ln lot or those immediately adjacent without the review and approval Cn of the Director of Parks; and 5. that the project shall meet all the requirements of the Uniform Building and Uniform Fire Codes as amended by the City of Burlingame.
