HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso - CC - 024-1990RESOLUTION NO. 24-90 RESOLUTION ADOPTING AMENDMENTS TO THE BAYFRONT-ANZA AREA SPECIFIC AREA PLAN RESOLVED, by the CITY COUNCIL of the CITY OF BURLINGAME, California, that: WHEREAS, California Government Code Sections 65,350 et sea. allow the amendment of a Specific Area Plan pursuant to the procedures therein set forth, and WHEREAS, the City Planner has presented a recommendation regarding an amendments to the Specific Area Plan allowing long term airport parking in the C-4 zone portion thereof, and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission after public hearings and due consideration has recommended that said amendments be approved, and WHEREAS, this Council has held a public hearing upon such recommendation, due notice having been given as required by law, and has considered the recommendation of the Planning Commission: NOW, THEREFORE, it is HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Burlingame that; 1. All notices required to be given and hearings required to be held by the Government Code have been given and held in the form and at the time and manner prescribed by law. 2. The proposed amendments to the Bayfront -Anna Area Specific Area Plan set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto are hereby approved and adopted. 3. The City Clerk of the City Council be and hereby is ordered to transmit to the Planning Commission of the County of San Mateo a certified copy of this Resolution. MAYOR I, JUDITH A. MALFATTI, City Clerk of the City of Burlingame, do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 5th day of February 1990, and was adopted thereafter by the following vote: AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: BARTON, HARRISON, LEMBI, O'MAHONY, PAGLIARO NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: NONE ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: NONE CITY CLERK EXHIBIT "A" AMENDMENT TO THE TEXT OF THE BAYFRONVANZA AREA SPECIFIC AREA PLAN Page IV -5, Phasing of Development section, following line 30, add paragraph: "While no phasing is proposed in the plan, it is consistent with the goals and implementing policies of the plan to allow lower intensity interim land uses which serve a regional need and otherwise comply with the underlying implementations of this plan including: traffic generation limitations and the design guidelines which provide dedicated, improved public access along all water frontages.
