HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso - CC - 059-1992RESOLUTION NO. 59-92 RESOLUTION APPROVING VARIANCES RESOLVED by the CITY COUNCIL of the City of Burlingame that: WHEREAS, application has been made for lot coverage and two narking variances for a first and second floor addition at _ 1645 McDonald Way (APN 025-195-020)(Property owner• Karl R. & Ann I. Vorsatz 1645 McDonald Way Burlingame CA 94010 1; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on said application on June S 1992 at which time said application was denied; WHEREAS, this matter was annealed to City Council and a hearing thereon held on July 6 , 1992 , at which time it reviewed and considered the staff report and all other written materials and testimony presented at said hearing; NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby RESOLVED and DETERMINED by this Council that said application is approved, subject to the conditions set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto. It is further directed that a certified copy of this resolution be recorded in the official records of the County of San Mateo. I, JUDITH A. MALFATTI, City Cl&rk of the City of Burlingame, do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 6th day of July , 1992 , and adopted thereafter by the following vote: AYES: COUNCILMEN: HARRISON, LEMBI, O'MAHONY, PAGLIARO NOES: COUNCILMEN: KNIGHT ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: NONE / CITY CLERK EXHIBIT "A" Conditions of approval, variances, 1645 McDonald Way (effective July 7, 1992) 1. that the project shall be built as shown on the plans submitted to the Planning Department and date stamped May 21, 1992 Sheets A-1, A-2 and A-3; 2. that the family room above the garage shall not be used as a second unit; 3. that the project shall meet all Uniform Building and Uniform Fire Code requirements as amended by the City of Burlingame; and 4. that the property owner shall maintain a vegetative screen in the rear yard, dense enough to block the neighbor's view from the adjacent properties to the rear.
