HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso - CC - 012-1991RESOLUTION NO. 12 - 91 DISPOSAL OF CONTAMINATED SOIL AT CITY LANDFILL CITY PROJECT NO. 521 WHEREAS, the DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS authorized a solicitation for bids for the DISPOSAL OF CONTAMINATED SOIL AT CITY LANDFILL, CITY PROJECT NO. 521; and WHEREAS, DECON ENVIRONMENTAL OF HAYWARD submitted the lowest bid for the job in the amount of $40,200; NOW, THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED, and it is hereby ORDERED, that the bid of DECON ENVIRONMENTAL for said PROJECT in the amount of $40,200 be, and the same hereby is accepted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a contract be entered into between the successful bidder hereinabove referred to and the City of Burlingame for the performance of said work, and that the City Manager be, and he hereby is authorized for and on behalf of the City of Burlingame to execute said contract and to approve the faithful performance bond and the labor and materials bond required to be furnished by the contractor. Mayor I, Judith A. Malfatti, City Clerk of the City of Burlin- game, do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 23rd day of January , 1991, and was adopted thereafter by the following vote: AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: BARTON, HARRISON, LEMBI, O'MAHONY, PAGLIARO NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: NONE ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: NONE
