HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso - CC - 014-1993that: RESOLUTION NO. 14-93 SUSPENDING WATER EMERGENCY PENALTIES RESOLVED, by the CITY COUNCIL of the CITY OF BURLINGAME, WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 49-92 of this Council the City has previously declared a water shortage emergency and established appropriate rules and regulations, including water allocations and penalties for overuse of water; and WHEREAS, extraordinary conservation by the residents and businesses of the City have resulted in overall water usage substantially below the City's allocation from the San Francisco Water System; and WHEREAS, it appears that the due to the extraordinary rain and snow of the current winter it is expected that the San Francisco Water System will eliminate mandatory water rationing in April of this year NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City Council hereby suspends the penalties for use of water in excess of allocations, as said penalties are set forth in Section III A of Resolution 49-92, effective with the billing cycle commencing March 1, 1993.
