HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso - CC - 019-1994RESOLUTION NO. 19-94 APPROVING THE JOINT NONDISPOSAL FACILITY ELEMENT FOR THE CITY OF BURLINGAME RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Burlingame, that WHEREAS, AB 3001 requires every city and county in California to.prepare and adopt a Nondisposal Facility Element; and WHEREAS, each Nondisposal Facility Element shall identify the nondisposal facilities to be used by a city or county to assist in reaching the diversion mandates of Public Resources Code Section 41780; and WHEREAS, cities and counties are allowed to work cooperatively with each other for the purpose of preparing Nondisposal Facility Elements; and WHEREAS, San Mateo County and 18 jurisdictions, Atherton, Belmont, Brisbane, Burlingame, Colma, Daly City, East Palo Alto, Foster City, Half Moon Bay, Hillsborough, Menlo Park, Millbrae, Portola Valley, Redwood City, San Carlos, San Mateo, South San Francisco, and Woodside have prepared a Joint Nondisposal Facility Element; and WHEREAS, said Joint Nondisposal Facility Element has been reviewed by the City/County Association of Governments (C/CAG), the Local Task Force for San Mateo County, and found to be acceptable; and NDFE. WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed and considered said Joint NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED AND DETERMINED that the Joint Nondisposal Facility Element prepared for Atherton, Belmont, Brisbane, Burlingame, Colma, Daly City, East Palo Alto, Foster City, Half Moon Bay, Hillsborough, Menlo Park, Millbrae, Portola Valley, Redwood City, San Carlos, San Mateo, South San Francisco, Woodside, and Unincorporated Areas of San Mateo County, Final Draft dated April 1994, is adopted as the Nondisposal Facility Element for the City of Burlingame. MAYOR I, JUDITH A. MALFATTI, City Clerk of the City of Burlingame, do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 2nd day of following vote: AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: 1994, and was adopted thereafter by the HARRISON;.
