AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR
GREEN WASTE COLLECTION, SECOND AMENDMENT TO
AGREEMENT FOR COLLECTION OF RECYCLABLE MATERIALS,
AND DELETING PARAGRAPH FROM FIRST AMENDMENT TO
UNIFORM FRANCHISE AGREEMENT
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Burlingame,
California, and this Council does hereby FIND, ORDER and
as follows:
1. The public interest and convenience require execution of
the Agreement for Green Waste Collection and the Second Amendment
to the Agreement for Collection of Recyclable Materials.
2. The City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to sign
said agreements for and on behalf of the City of Burlingame.
3. The City Clerk is hereby ordered and instructed to attest
such signature.
4. Paragraph 3 of the First Amendment to the Uniform
Franchise Agreement, dated October 1, 1987 and concerning garden
pick-up, is superseded by said Agreement for Green Waste Collection
and is therefore declared null and void.

Burlingame, do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the
16th day of SEPTEMBER , 1996, and was adopted thereafter
by the following vote:
