RESOLUTION NO.. 20-95
CATEGORICAL EXEMPTION AND SPECIAL PERMIT
FOR FINANCIAL INSTITUTION
RESOLVED by the CITY COUNCIL of the City of Burlingame that:
WHEREAS, a categorical exemption has been proposed and application
has been made for a special permit for a financial institution at
405 Primrose Road, Suite 212. zoned C-1. subarea B1. APN: 029-121-450,
property owner: Bertram Horn and Family. 405 Primrose Road, Suite 300;
and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on said
application on February 13 1995 , at which time said application
was approved;
WHEREAS, this matter was appealed to City Council and a hearing
thereon held on March 20. 1995 , at which time it reviewed and
considered the staff report and all other written materials and
testimony presented at said hearing;

NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby RESOLVED and DETERMINED by this
Council that:

1. On the basis of the Initial Study and the documents submitted and

reviewed, and comments received and addressed by this concil, it is
hereby found that there is no substantial evidence that the project set
forth above will have a significant effect on the environment, and
categorical exemption Section: 15301 - Existing Facilities, Class
W
1(a), Interior or exterior alterations in.,_iying such things as
interior partitions, plumbing, and electrical conveyances is hereby
approved.
2. Said special permit is approved subject to the conditions set
forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto. Findings for such Special Permit
are as set forth in the minutes and recording of said meeting.
3. It is further directed that a certified copy of this resolution be
recorded in the official records of the CoCo-uun^/1ty of San Mateo.

Conditions of approval categorical exemption and special permit for
financial institution

effective MARCH 20, 1995
1. that the investment management business shall be limited to 216 SF
in Suite 212, at 405 Primrose Road as shown on the plans submitted
to the Planing Department and date stamped December 20, 1994 Floor
Plan (8k" X 1111) ;
2. that the investment management business shall be open 9:00 A.M. to
4:00 P.M. Monday 'through Friday with a maximum of two employees
including the proprietor, on site, at any one time;
3. that any changes in operation, floor area, use, or number of
employees, which exceeds the maximums as stated in these
conditions shall require an amendment to this use permit; and
4. that the use and any improvements for the use shall meet all the
requirements of the Uniform Building and Uniform Fire Codes as
amended by the City of Burlingame.
