AWARDING CONTRACT - VICTORIA PARK PLAYGROUND AREA IMPROVEMENTS
CITY PROJECT 9617
RESOLVED, by the CITY COUNCIL of the CITY OF
BURLINGAME, that;
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized an invitation
for bids for the VICTORIA PARK PLAYGROUND AREA IMPROVEMENTS, and
WHEREAS, on June 4, 1996, all bids received were
opened before the Recreation Director and the Acting Director of
Parks; and
WHEREAS, J.M. CONSTRUCTION submitted the lowest bid
for the job in the amount of $48,450;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED, and it is hereby
ORDERED, that the bid of J.M. CONSTRUCTION for said amount of
$48,450, be and the same is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a contract be entered
into between the successful bidder hereinabove referred to and
the City of Burlingame for the performance of said work, and that
the City Manager be, and he hereby is authorized for and on
behalf of the City of Burlingame to execute said contract and to
approve the faithful performance bond and the labor and materials
bond required to be furnished by the contractor.

I, JUDITH A. MALFATTI, City Clerk of the City of
Burlingame, do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the
1st day of JULY , 1996, and was adopted
thereafter by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: HARRISON, JANNEY, KNIGHT, O'MAHONY, SPINELLI
