RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME
APPROVING QUITCLAIM DEED OF PORTION OF ALLEY LOCATED
BETWEEN EL CAMINO REAL AND BALBOA AVENUE NEAR EASTON DRIVE TO
FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH IN CONSIDERATION OF DEDICATIONS
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Burlingame:
WHEREAS, the City owns an alley between El Camino Real and Balboa Avenue near
Easton Drive that comes off Hillside Drive; and
WHEREAS, the owners of the real property at 1500 Easton Avenue, the First Presbyterian
Church, are merging the parcels that they own around the last 100 feet of this alley, so that the alley
is no longer needed for public access to these merged parcels; and
WHEREAS, the merger of the parcels and abandonment of the alley was duly approved in
the approval by the City of Parcel Map 97-1; and
WHEREAS, the First Presbyterian Church has offered to dedicate property at the corner of
Easton Drive and El Camino Real for public use in consideration of this quitclaim deed,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED AND ORDERED:
1. The City Manager is authorized and directed to execute the quitclaim deed that is attached
as Exhibit A hereto for and on behalf of the City of Burlingame.
2. The Clerk is directed to attest to the signature of the City Manager.
