RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BURLINGAME APPROVING A ONE-YEAR RENEWAL OF THE
AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE CITY AND EMPEX VENTURES, DBA INDUSTRIAL PASSENGER SERVICES
FOR SHUTTLE BUS SERVICE
WHEREAS, on July 1, 1996, the City entered into the agreement contained in Exhibit A
hereto with Empex Ventures to provide shuttle bus service to the hotel and commuter areas of the
City; and
WHEREAS, that shuttle bus service has been very successful in providing an important
transit alternative; and
WHEREAS, Empex Ventures is willing to renew the contract with the City for an additional
one-year period on the same terms and conditions,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Burlingame does hereby resolve,
determine, and find as follows:
1. The City Manager is authorized and directed to execute an amendment to the
agreement contained in Exhibit A hereto renewing the agreement for one year to June 30, 1998, on
the same terms and conditions.
2. The City Clerk is directed to witness the signature of the Manager.

foregoing Resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council on the 16th day of JUNE
1997, and was adopted thereafter by the following vote:

NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: NONE
