RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
BURLINGAME AND THORENFELDT CONSTRUCTION FOR PHASE I OF THE
RECREATION CENTER REMODELING
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Burlingame:
WHEREAS, the City of Burlingame wishes to begin the remodeling of the City Recreation
Center and has advertised for bids for the construction project; and
WHEREAS, the City received 4 bids proposing prices for various alternatives; and
WHEREAS, following the receipt of the sealed bids and prior to the opening of the bids, the
City announced to the bidders how the alternatives would be ranked; and
WHEREAS, Thorenfeldt Construction was the low bidder for the Base Bid plus Alternates
1, 1A, and 2, and is a responsible bidder,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED:
1. The bid received from Thorenfeldt Construction is accepted and the Agreement attached
hereto as Exhibit A is approved.
2. The City Manager is authorized to execute the Agreement for and on behalf of the City of
Burlingame.
3. The City Clerk is directed to witness the Manager's signature on behalf of the City.

I, JUDITH A. MALFATTI, City Clerk of the City of Burlingame, do hereby certify
that the foregoing resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 23rd
day of APRIL ,1997, and was adopted thereafter by the following vote:
