RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME
APPROVING THE NAME OF THE PRIVATE STREET FRONTING 1508, 1510, 1512,
AND 1514 LA MESA "DRIVE" AS LA MESA LANE
AND FORWARDING APPROVAL TO
THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF SAN MATEO COUNTY
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Burlingame:
WHEREAS, the residents of 1508, 1510, and 1512, and 1514 La Mesa Drive (APN's 027-
022-510, 027-022-520, 027-022-470, and 027-022-490) as generally shown on Exhibit A hereto have
petitioned the City to name the private street fronting their homes as La Mesa Lane, which is
consistent with the common name of this street and the street name sign placed on that portion of the
street; and
and
WHEREAS, this change will reduce confusion and assist the residents in receiving services;
WHEREAS, this change can be approved pursuant to Government Code § 34902 and
forwarded to the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors and other public agencies,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the private street fronting 1508, 1510,
1512, and 1514 La Mesa Drive is named La Mesa Lane as generally shown on Exhibit A hereto. The
City Clerk is requested and directed to forward a certified copy of this resolution to the San Mateo
County Board of Supervisors, and to the other following agencies: the U.S. Postal Service, the San
Mateo County Assessor, the San Mateo County Recorder, the San Mateo Union School District, and
the Burlingame Elementary School District.

that the foregoing resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the_
3rdday of MARCH 1997, and was adopted thereafter by the following vote:

SUBJECT: STREET NAME CHANGE
At its meeting of March 3 the city council adopted a resolution (copy attached) changing the
name of a private street to LA MESA LANE: homes located at 1508, 1510, 1512 and 1514
T a "sae La Mesa Lane. This action is in response a request from residents of that
private street and is effective immediately.
