RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
BURLINGAME AND THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO FOR COOPERATION FOR SAN
MATEO COUNTY HOMEOWNERSHIP PROGRAM AND MORTGAGE CREDIT
CERTIFICATE PROGRAM
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Burlingame:
WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo administers housing programs in the County that
benefit citizens of Burlingame and the City of Burlingame; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to authorize the County of San Mateo to apply in the name of
the City for mortgage bond allocations to the California Debt Limit Allocation Committee to fund
mortgage credit certificates for providing home loans to qualifying citizens; and
WHEREAS, the City also wishes to be included in the Countywide Homeownership
Program to assist home purchasers; and
WHEREAS, the proposed cooperation agreement between the City and the County will
allow both of these program to benefit Burlingame citizens,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED:
1. The Agreement attached hereto as Exhibit A is approved, and the Mayor is authorized to
execute the Agreement for and on behalf of the City of Burlingame.
2. The City Clerk is directed to witness the Mayor's signature on behalf of the City.

that the foregoing resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 3rd
day of FEBRUARY 1997, and was adopted thereafter by the following vote:
