ORDINANCE P.ECULATIN?C DELICATESSENS
The CITY COUNCIL of the CITY OF BURLIPSGAAE does hereby
ORDAIN as follows:
Section 1. Section 25.08.215 of the Burlingame Municipal
Code is amended to read as follows:
"25.08.215 Delicatessen. A delicatessen is a business
which sells prepared and pre -prepared cooked foods, meats, smoked
fish, cheese and/or salads for consumption on or off premises."
Section 2. Section 25.08.645 of said Code is amended to
read as follows:
"25.08.645 Take-out service. "Take-out service" means a
feature or characteristic of eating and drinking services,
including fast food restaurants, delicatessens and other similar
food services where food is pre -prepared or rapidly prepared,
primarily for consumption off the premises, and which encourages
or allows consumption of food and beverages outside of a building,
such as in outdoor seating areas where regular table service is
not provided, in vehicles parked on the premises, or off the site."
Section 3. This ordinance shall be published as required
by law.
