ORDINANCE MAKING CLERICAL A.4ENDMENTS TO WEED
ABATEMENT PROCEDURE
The CITY COUNCIL of the City of Burlingame does hereby
ORDAIN as follows:
Section 1. The final paragraph of the form of notice
set forth in Section 11.08.030 shall be amended to read as follows:
"All property owners having any objections to the proposed
destruction or removal of such weeds or rubbish are hereby notified
to attend a meeting of the council of said city, to be held at the
chambers in the city hall in said city on . . I I , 19 at
. . . . O'clock, p.m., when and where objections will be
heard and given due consideration."
Section 2. The final paragraph of the form of notice set
forth in Section 11.08.070 shall be amended to read as follows:
"NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that on Monday, the. . . . .day
of . . . . 19. ., at the hour of . . . . . .o'clock, p.m.
in the council chambers in the city hall of said city, said report
and assessment list will be presented to the City Council of said
city for consideration and confirmation, and all persons interested
having any objections to said report and assessment list, or to
any matter or thing contained therein, may appear at said time and.
place to be heard."
Section 3. Section 11.08.090 is hereby amended to read
as follows:
"
11.08.090 Collection on tax roll. A certified copy of the
sport shall be filed with the County Controller on or before
ugust 10. Tl.ereafter, such amounts shall be collected at the
ame time and in the same manner, as general city taxes are
ollected, and shall be subject to the same interest and penalties,
nd the same procedure and sale in case of delinquency. All laws
nd ordinances applicable to the levy, collection and enforcement
f city taxes are hereby made applicable to such special assess-
ents."

Burlingame do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance was
introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the
4th day of May 1987, and was adopted thereafter at
a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 18th day of
May ,1987, by the following vote:
