ESTABLISHING INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS FOR BUILDING
AND ENCROACHMENT PERMITS
The CITY COUNCIL of the CITY OF BURLINGAME does hereby
ORDAIN as follows:
Section 1. Section 12.20.020 is hereby added to the
Burlingame Municipal Code to read as follows:
"12.20.020 Insurance requirements. The City Engineer
may require any person applying for a building or encroachment
permit to provide such liability insurance, guarantees, endorse-
ments, bonds or other security, as may be appropriate to the
permit."
Section 2. This ordinance shall be published as
required by law.

Burlingame, do hereby certify that the foregoing ordinance was
introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the
19th day of January 1987, and was adopted thereafter
at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 2nd day
of February 1987, by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: AMSTRUP, BARYON, LEMBI, MANGINI, PAGLIARO
NOES: COUNCILMEN: NOfdE
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: NONE
