Speakers may address the Commission c{,n(f,/ming any matter over which the Commissrbn has
iutisdiction or of which it may tako cognizancc that is not on the agenda. Additional public comments
on agenda aclion items witl be heard when the Commission takes up ,hose items. The Ralph M. Brown
Act (the State local agency open meeting taw) prohibits the Commission frcm acting on any mafter thal
is not on the agenda. Speakers are asked to ftlt out a 'request lo speak" card located on the table by
the door ancl hand it to stafr, although provision of neme, addrsss or other identifying information is
optional. Speakers are timited to threle minutes each, atthough the Commission may adiust the time
limit in light of the number of anticipated sp€akers.
