APPLICATIONS
to RESUBDIVISION - Lands of Person -Western, Inc.
A Parcel Map "being a resubdivision of acreage which lies between Bayshore
Boulevard and Carolan Avenue southeast of Cadillac Way" prepared by
Howard Go Hickey, Civil Engineer, for the owner, Person -Western, Inc,, was
reviewed.
The map proposed to establish a new parcel with 40 feet of frontage on
Bayshore Boulevard by 90 feet in depth adjacent to the lands of •176 Oil
Products Corporation,"
A communication from the applicant dated July 2, 1968, stated that the
purpose of the resubdivision is to increase the land area of the Union Coil
Company service station at Cadillac Way and Bayshore Boulevard.
rhe City Planner stated that the Commission recently approved a variance to
Union Oil Company to extend its facilities to include 40 feet of the
adjoining property.
During a period of discussion the Commission was informed that the proposed
lob: and the main service station site are in different ownerships and that
apparently it is the owners' intention not to combine into a single property,
There were comments that the resubdivision as proposed will establish an
_. R-4 parcel with 40 feet of street frontage, whereas,= both -lots would assume
industrial classification of the service station site. if combined.
The map was scheduled for public hearing at the regular meeting on July 22.
The Chair requested that Union Oil Company be notified accordingly and
invited to send a representative.
