called to order on the above date at 8:00 p.m., Chairman Cistulli
presiding.
ROLL CALL
All of the wambers answered the Secretary's roll call.
1. RESUBDIVI:SION - POPPY DRIVE.
A resubdivision map prepared by Louis A. Arata, Civil Engineer, pro-
posed to realign the interior property line between Lots 46 and 47,
Block 4, Burlinghome Subdivision, owned by Jack Penn, 2516 Poppy Drive,
and Joseph P. Sechser, 1436 Cabrillo Avenue, respectively.
Commissioners were advised that the owner of Lot 46 is planning an
addition to the existing dwelling; there is a problem in the property
created by the narrowness '.of the lot o all of the lots on the street
are less than the legal minimum d and the two owners have agreed to
removal of an area from Lot 47 to Lot 46, as shown on the :yap, to
allow for four (4) feet of side setback at the new construction.
The map was scheduled for public hearing at the regular meeting,
June 26, =9 67, following a determination that lot coverage is consider-
ably below the permitted 40%.

light industrial purposes; existing wood structures Sri ll. be demolished
to be replaced with a new concrete block building 30 fee-z- by 80 fees:
with 15 on -site parking spaces.
Mr. Hugh Connolly, attorney representing Mr. Madden, discussed existing
land , uses, mentioning several commercial operations interspersed with
Y the apartment buildings on the service road; he stated that the owner
believes there is a hardship in the present zoning as other apartment
properties on the street have not developed well and that a food store
will provide a convenient service to residents in the area.
