RESUBDIVISION LOTS 3 and 4. BLOCK 13, BURLINCAME GROVE SUBDIVISION. The City Engineer presented a map of the above -described properties, prepared by Wilsey, Siam & Blair, for the owner, Merritt Mangels, proposing to delete the interior property line between the two lots and create one parcel with frontage of 74.26 feet on California Drive. The Commission was advised that the owner plans to enlarge the existing building by adding a new addition which will extend over on to Lot 4; the building code prohibits openings on a �Hperty line and the building and fire departments are insisting that the interior lot line be deleted before the plans will be approved. Craig, engineer, proposed to delete interior property lines and to combine the above, -mentioned four lots into one parcel with frontage of 10612`° on California Drive and 100' can Lorton Avenue. Randlett, Civil Engineer, for the owner, Adrian Road Syndicate, was `.- Veld for the August study meeting upon determination by the Chair that than applicant was neither in attendance nor represented to answer questions raised by Commissioners and the staff. 4. SPECIAL PERMITS - OFFICE BUILDINGS IN M-1 DISTRICT. Charles King and Robert Ryan, 819 Mitten Road, Burlingame, filed three Special Permit applications for office buildings in East Millsdale Industrial Park, as follows: 1. Single story building, Mitten Road. 2. Two story building, corner Bayshore Highway and Mitten Road. 3. Two single story buildings, Hinckley Road. Communications accompanied the applications and maps designating the specific locations. The Commission was advised that an office building in M-1 is a conditional use requiring approval of a use permit. Following a review of the applicants' - drawings and a discussion on park- ing facilities, the applications were scheduled for public hearing on July 25. S,. CLASSIFICATION OF LANDS EASTERLY OF FREEWAY NOW UNCLASSIFIED. A map describing the boundaries of a proposed Tidal Plain zone, scheduled for public hearing at the meeting of July 2S, was rev ewe Mr. Bei, representing the City and County of San Francisco, discussed long-range plans for airport expansion and displayed related drawings. The City Planner mentioned that in addition to planning in progress for the airport, the engineering firm of Wilsey, Ham and Blair, is conduct- ing studies for Pacific Air Commerce Center involving tideland holdings within the city owned by Ideal Censent Company. He suggested that until there is some determination on the waterfront area the city needs a prohibitive.type of ordinance to regulate its development. - 5, BROADWAY OVERPASS --- INTERIM IMPROVEMENTS. Commissioners discussed a report prepared by Commissioner Norberg sub- mitting recommendations to the City Council for alleviating existing traffic problems in the Broadway area prior to the overpass reconstruc- tion project; it was the consensus that the subject be held for dis- position at a future date.
