Audio -Visual, e-Books, Databases, Programs and even door counts.
• Trustees would like to have the statistical information every 3 or 4

patrons.
IV. Public Comment —No one from the public attended the meeting.
V. Reports
A. City Librarian's Report —Staff Development Day Oct. 10/ 10/2022
• Staff Development Day began with a zoom training given by Karin
Peabody. Lunch and group activities were held in Washington Park.
Staff returned to the library for a team building discussion. Staff felt
the day was well spent with new ideas of how to work together and
benefit the library.
• Next year the library will hold Staff Development Day in a different
format and recognize Indigenous People Day by closing the library for
the holiday.
• Closing for Indigenous People day means that staff will have to find
a way to hold Staff Development Day on non -regular work days in
order to still receive 1/2 day off for Christmas and 1/2 day off for New
Year's Eve as stated in the MOU.
1
• Brad, the City Librarian, has asked staff to give him suggestions on
how to reinvent Staff Development Day

updated Plan.
• The Trustees noted that finding a way to reach the underserved population of
