RESOLUTION NO. 003-2024
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME
ACCEPTING 1740 ROLLINS ROAD AND 842 COWAN ROAD
PUMP STATION UPGRADES BY ANVIL BUILDERS INC.
CITY PROJECT NO. 84820 & 83390
WHEREAS, on July 6, 2020, the City Council awarded the 1740 Rollins Road and 842
Cowan Road Pump Station Upgrades Project to Anvil, in the amount of $4,189,000; and
WHEREAS, the work consisted of site/civil, process mechanical, structural, electrical, and
instrumentation and control upgrades to two existing stormwater pump stations and one sanitary
sewage pump station; and
WHEREAS, the project construction has been completed, and the final construction cost is
$4,534,000, which is $345,000 above the awarded contract amount and is within the authorized
contingencies, with adequate funds available in the Capital Improvement Program budgets to cover
the estimated final costs.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the CITY COUNCIL of the City of Burlingame, California,
and this Council does hereby find, order, and determine as follows:
1. The Director of Public Works of said City has certified that the work done by Anvil Builders
Inc. (Anvil), under the terms of its contract with the City dated August 3, 2020, has been completed.
2. Said work is particularly described as City Project Nos. 84820 and 83390.
3. Said work be and the same hereby is accepted.

foregoing Resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 16th day of
January 2024, and was adopted thereafter by the following vote:

NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: NONE
