A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME
APPROVING THE PROCUREMENT OF THREE FULLY ELECTRIC VEHICLES
FOR THE CITY’S FLEET SYSTEM IN THE AMOUNT OF $175,609.68
WHEREAS, the Fleet Division of the Public Works Department is responsible for vehicle
maintenance services of the City’s fleet, and for managing the Vehicle Replacement Program in
a sustainable and effective manner to ensure the City’s fleet is in good operating condition; and
WHEREAS, the Fleet Division has identified three vehicles for replacement; and
WHEREAS, staff solicited competitive bids and obtained the lowest responsible bid in the
amount of $175,609.68 from Towne Ford for the procurement of three all-electric 2024 Ford F150
Lightning Trucks to be utilized by the Public Works Department for water, sewer, street, and storm
drain maintenance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, and ORDERED, the above-submitted lowest
responsible bid is approved and adopted; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the lowest responsible bid for said purchase in the
amount of $175,609.68 is accepted, and the City Manager or her designee is authorized to
execute the procurement.

the foregoing Resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 4th
day of December, 2023, and was adopted thereafter by the following vote:

NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: NONE
