RESOLUTION APPROVING CATEGORICAL EXEMPTION AND MASTER SIGN PROGRAM
RESOLVED, by the Planning Commission of the City of Burlingame that:
WHEREAS, a Categorical Exemption has been prepared and application has been made for a Master
Sion Proo ram for a sion above the oround fl oor and to exceed allowable sio n area of an existinq
commercial buildinq at 1205 Burlinqame Avenue , Zoned BAC, Ronald Karp. prope rty owner, APN: 029-
204-060:
WHEREAS, said matters were heard by the Planning Commission of the City of Burlingame on
September 26, 2022 , at which time it reviewed and considered the staff report and all other written
materjals and testimony presented at said hearing;
NOW, THEREFORE, it is RESOLVED and DETERMINED by this Planning Commission that:
On the basis of the lnitial Study and the documents submitted and reviewed, and comments
received and addressed by this Commission, it is hereby found that there is no substantial
evidence that the pro.iect set forth above will have a significant effect on the environment, and
categorical exemption, per CEQA Section 1531 1 (a), which states that construction or placement
of minor structures accessory to (appurtenant to) existing commercial, industrial, or institutional
facilities, including but not limited to on-premise signs, is exempt from environmental review, is
hereby approved.
Said Master Sign Program is approved subject to the conditions set forth in Exhibit "A" attached
hereto. Findings for such Master Sign Program is set forth in the staff report. minutes, and
recording of said meeting.
3. lt is further directed that a certified copy of this resolution be recorded in the official records of the
rrpersons t.oru?Secretary the Planning Commission of the City of
Burlingame, do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was introduced and adopted at a regular
meeting of the Planning Commission held on the 26th dav of September, 2022 by the following vote:

that the project shall be built as shown on the plans submitted to the Planning Division date
stamped August 31, 2022, sheets 0.0 through 2.0;
that any increase in the number or area of the signs shall be subject to Planning Division or
Planning Commission review (may require amendment to Master Sign Program);
that if the structure is demolished or the envelope changed at a later date the Master Sign
Program associated with the building, as well as any other exceptions to the code granted here
will become void; and

that the prolect shall meet all the requirements of the California Building and Uniform Fire
