This project is being constructed on an occupied site that has numerous buildings and related underground utilities. We have attempted to identify and indicate all underground, surface and overhead utilities in these plans. However, it is likely that there are utilities and other features that have not been identified. Shaded area indicates buildings to be modified as part of this Contract. Work may also occur around building as necessary to complete utility and communication systems. 9. The Contractor and all sub —contractors shall inspect the site prior to commencement of work and identify any conditions that vary from these plans in writing so that a resolution may be developed in a timely manner. 10. All existing utilities and site features to remain shall be protected at all times during construction work. 11. Temporary utility routing and connections shall be provided for all utilities that will remain in service. 12. Contractor shall protect from damage any underground utilities and shall repair any utilities damaged due to construction processes to the satisfaction of Owner and Architect. 13. Contractor shall verify all indicated grades in field and identify any proposed grading conditions that are not achievable in writing for resolution in a timely manner. 14. All final grades shall result in positive drainage. No finish surface shall be allowed to pond, whether landscape or hardscape with the exception of intentional stormwater treatment areas. 15. Contractor shall protect all existing Storm Drainage inlets during construction, including, but not limited to catch basins, & downspout connections. 16. Contractor shall not scale drawings to determine dimensions without consulting with the Architect. Incorrect dimensions and resulting construction deficiencies due to scaling of Documents by the Contractor are the Contractor's responsibility and required corrections will be performed at the Contractor's expense. 16. Critical alignments may occur between items installed by different trades. Contractor to note all such items and notify affected trades. Sub -contractors shall review Documents and identify all such items that affect their work in any way. 17. Contractor shall review all dimensions shown herein for accuracy prior to construction.
