A speclal reetlng of the Burllngame Clty Councll was held on
the above given date. I",leeting eaIled to order at 10:15 a.m.,
all members traving been prevLously notlfied as required by
1aw and consentLng to the holding of the meeting - Mayor
Simonds ln the Chalr.

Itiayo r Slmonds stated that the meeting had been calied fon the
pur?ose of dlscusslng and taking action on the appllcation of
Catherine Dyer for an on-sale liquor l-icense at L463 Burllng arre
Avenue and transferred from C. Iliartinelai, 445 E1 Camlno Rea1,
San Bruno. The Clty Clerk read the Ngtiflcatlon to the State
Board of EqualIzation. Councilman Harper stated that 6s the
Corrrrci I has previously denied on-sal-e li quor licenses to
appJ-leants at the above address, he therefor"e moved that theCity Clerk be instructed to write a lettor to the Board ofEqualization re que sti-ng that that Board deny the application
and firther lnformlng the Board that the Clty of tsurlingame has
had the assurance of Mr. George Rel}ly that no further J-l,quor
licenses would be pernitted. The motion was seconded by Councll-
man Love and following ro11 caLl urtan l mous Iy carried. the Cbiefof Police was also instrr:cted to send a wrltten protest. Apetition signed by 26 residents of Burlingame, representlrig
various churche s vrithin the City was prresented ln protest to
the above application. Mayon Simonds stated that the petition
woul-d be received. and placed on fl1e and that the Council is
tho roughly in accord wlth the entered protest.
There being no further buslness before the Council- at thL s time,the meeting was adJourned on motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded
by Counellman Love and unanlmously carried.
