A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME
ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS – NEIGHBORHOOD STORM DRAIN PROJECT NO. 13
BY C2R ENGINEEERING, INC.
CITY PROJECT NO. 85890
WHEREAS, on August 15, 2022, the City Council awarded the Neighborhood Storm Drain
Project No. 13 to C2R Engineering, Inc. in the amount of $678,400; and
WHEREAS, the project consisted of the installation of approximately 372 linear feet of
storm drain by open cut, approximately 1,295 square feet of new cross gutter, 114 linear feet of
curb and gutter replacement, four storm drain manholes, two storm drain junction structures, and
associated restoration work; and
WHEREAS, the above infrastructure improvements will help alleviate localized flooding and
improve the overall drainage of the affected areas; and
WHEREAS, the project construction has been satisfactorily completed in compliance with
the plans and specifications, and the final construction cost of $733,720 is $55,320 above the
awarded contract amount but within the Council approved construction contingency; and
WHEREAS, there are adequate funds available in the Capital Improvements budget to
cover the estimated final costs.
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the CITY COUNCIL of the City of Burlingame,
California, and this Council does hereby find, order, and determine as follows:
1. The Director of Public Works of said City has certified the work done by C2R Engineering,
Inc., under the terms of its contract with the City dated September 14, 2022, has been
completed in accordance with the plans and specifications approved by the City Council
and to the satisfaction of the Director of Public Works.
2. Said work is particularly described as City Project No. 85890.
3. Said work be and the same hereby is accepted.
