RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH TELECOMMUNICATIONS
ENGINEERING ASSOCIATES (TEA)
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the importance of maintaining the operation of
the City’s emergency communications center and public-safety radio system; and
WHEREAS, the Telecommunications Engineering Associates (TEA) is the provider of
such services in this; and
WHEREAS, the Telecommunications Engineering Associates (TEA) has provided
exemplary service to the City since 1985; and
WHEREAS, the yearly cost for management and maintenance is fixed at $55,642 per
fiscal year for a five-year period;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a five-year agreement, in the form
attached hereto, with Telecommunications Engineering Associates (TEA) for $55,642 per year
for fiscal year 2023-24 through fiscal year 2027-28, not to exceed $278,210 for the five-year
period.

the foregoing Resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the Burlingame City Council
held on the 5th day of June, 2023, and was adopted thereafter by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers: BEACH, BROWNRIGG, COLSON, ORTIZ, STEVENSON
NOES: Councilmembers: NONE
ABSENT: Councilmembers: NONE
