Marr, Dir.ectorof Pub1lc Works, advislng that subsequent to a request, an invest-lgation has been made of the gutten condition at the Broadway PostOffice, end that to rectify the present eondltion it !d11 be nec-essary to remove and replace appnoxlmately 1OO feet of existing curb

the lot as a park and that the City Englneer be instrueted to post
appropri.ate signs absolving the city f?om liabllity in case of an ac-cldent. The motion was seconded by Couneilman Atwater and unanimous-ly camied. The Clerk was Lnstructed to notif) the petitioners ofthe actj.on taken by the Council.
