area on a left-hand turn.
Mr. Fred Lohman, Presi,dent of the Burlingame fmproverent Clubs Councll,
advised that tire rrembers of hls organization liere concerned with the
possible rezoning of the Burlingame Vlllage Subd.ivi sion because of lts
serious threat to the home owners. Ulr. Lehman urged that the Councll
uphold the d.ecision of the Plannlng Comralsslon.

The heaning was thereafter declared concluded by the Chalr and members

Councilaan Thayer stated that ln her oplnlon, from the evldence pre-

Councilman tsyrd, in seconding the motlon, stated that he recognlzedthe concer.n exprossed by both the appllcants and toe opponents and as
an lndLvldual, he was concorned with what was best for the Clty of
Bur11n-1a:ne. Councilman Byrd stated that in his oplnion a property
onner sh.ould b6 pormLtted to obtain fuII use of hls property.
Councilman Johnson stated that upon considering both the proponentg
and the oppononts posltlon and taklng under consideration al-so, whatLs best for the City of Burl lngame, her vote would be Ln favor of theresidents of Burllngame vlllago.
