an equitable solutlon to the problom.

vote, wlth Councilman Mongan absent on that occasion.

The Clty Englneor advised that the proposal affects the exchange of
the rear 49? square feet or clty property for 326 square feet of the

his property ard would. enable the Clty to acqulre a more valuableparcel ol prope rty.

from the Council relative to the distrlbutlon of sales tax revenue to

ln which the distrlbutlon of sales tax revenue was discussed; howevor,
the question of whether 1t tr,.s the intentl.on to retain flfty percent
of tt;.e saies tax revenue within the Gen€ral Fu.nds of ti]e City or to
reduce tbe property tax on a fifty percent basis was not resolved and
Councl lman Byrd was advlsed to refer to prevlous ralnutes of the CouncLl.
