lnvestlgatlon of tho San mateo dlsposal area reveafed that the Clty of
Bu:rlingarne, by comparlson, ls oporatlng at a greater expense and a

Councllman Crosby, former member of the Baylands Commlttee also spoke
on the concern of the conrrlttee over a consLderable perlod of tlmewlth nespect to the operatlon of the area and requested that the Clty
Manager: Lnvestigate the operatlon of both the Clty of San l,[ateot s and.the Clty of Belmontrs d ump operatlon for report to Councll.
Councllman P1artl-n requested that the Clty Manager subrdt a repo:rt to
Council on (1) th6 payments recelved by the dump operaton and (2) a
copy of the operatont s stater@nt concernLng hls proflts and lossesfor the precedlng flfteen nonths p6rlod; (3) that :rlgld speclfl-catlons
be estabLishetl fon the operatlon of the area, eff6ctLve lmmedlately and(4) ttrat on the basts of the speclflcatlons, the amount and the cost of
